Priority audition for the 2026-27 season will take place in August.

Salt Lake City Auditions (August 12, 19, and 26)
PRE-RECORDED AUDITIONS
Any singers auditioning halfway through the year must submit a pre-recorded audition as in-person auditions will not be offered. For the recording, singers should:
- Introduce themselves. Name, age, school, hobbies, and other interesting facts.
- Perform a favorite hymn or primary song. Either accompanied or unaccompanied is acceptable.
- Tell why they chose that particular song.
- Sing an ascending scale, beginning with their lowest note up to their highest note.
Uploading audition videos to an external site (like YouTube or Google Drive) and then sharing the link is preferable.
Send your audition video link and the Audition Form and Participation Contract (see below) to choirs@ahsmail.com before the audition deadline.
AUDITION FORM AND PARTICIPATION CONTRACT
Singers should fill out the audition form and participation contract (signed by a parent) prior to auditioning:
Enrollment
Enrollment is due only upon completion of a successful audition. Currently enrolled students do not need to re-audition for admission into the same ensemble but must submit an Intent to Return Form to reserve their seat. New applicants and students auditioning to change ensembles should complete and audition before enrolling.
